Specialized Student Support Services

Targeted Supports.

Stronger Connections.

Greater Student Success.

Our Specialized Student Support Services provide targeted support for students who need additional guidance, connection, and opportunity to thrive. These programs focus on case management, leadership development, service learning, English learner support, making healthy choices, and substance use prevention and intervention.

Through these services, EduCare helps schools meet the diverse needs of students while strengthening social-emotional well-being, increasing school engagement, and empowering young people to build confidence, leadership, and positive impact in their communities.

What We Do

Case Management

Provides consistent, individualized academic and social-emotional support for students who are most at risk, helping them navigate challenges, strengthen resilience, and stay connected to school. Case Management also provides tutoring support.

Teens Advocating for Civic Action (TACA)

Blends civic engagement, leadership development, and service learning to empower students to become advocates for positive change in their schools and communities.

Global Voices

An engaging afterschool program that supports English language development through language-rich activities that build communication skills, self-confidence, and stronger school involvement.

Tobacco-Use Prevention Education (TUPE)

Equips students with the knowledge, motivation, and support to make healthy choices and reduce or quit tobacco and nicotine use.

Advocates for Healthy Choices (AFHC)

Develops student leaders who plan and lead peer awareness campaigns focused on the harmful effects of tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and vaping devices.

Heartset Leaders Program

The Heartset Leaders program empowers students to discover and use their voices as catalysts for meaningful change by fostering empathy, self-awareness, and civic responsibility. Through engaging experiences, students develop leadership skills, and build confidence in speaking up, thinking critically, and advocating for issues that matter to them while exploring real-world challenges within their communities. The program encourages a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives and inspires students to take initiative in raising awareness around social, environmental, and civic concerns, helping them grow into compassionate leaders committed to creating positive change.

Impact

EduCare’s Language in Action Program has helped my child build confidence as an English learner. Through caring support, encouragement, and engaging activities, my child is growing in their communication skills and feeling more connected at school. As a parent, I am grateful that LAP not only supports language development, but also helps students feel seen, valued, and capable of success.
