ACE Initiative
Building Stronger Students, Healthier School Cultures,
and Brighter Futures
The ACE (Achievement and Commitment to Excellence) Initiative is EduCare’s comprehensive support model designed to advance academic achievement, strengthen social-emotional growth, and prepare students for success in college, career, and life.
What We Do
ACE Initiative combines academic support, college access, and social-emotional learning to help students thrive. Aligned with CASEL and MTSS Tiers 1 and 2, ACE Initiative delivers high-quality, evidence-based support that promotes whole-child success. It strengthens school culture and supports measurable outcomes, including improved engagement and attendance, reduced chronic absenteeism, stronger academic performance, higher graduation rates, and increased college readiness.
Who We Serve
K-12 Schools, School Districts, and Charter Schools
Impact
A 2021 case study by Learning Policy Institute of an EduCare ACE Initiative high school in LAUSD found that, despite serving a more disadvantaged student population, the school outperformed its LAUSD peer schools on academic performance, graduation rates, and healthy mindsets and habits.
- 97% of students graduated from high school, compared to 82% in the district.
- 95% of students completed the eligibility coursework for California’s public university system, nearly doubling the district rate.
